Assistant sales Manager-Commercial vehicles


Role: City Manager - Sales, Onboarding and Collections (Electric Vehicles)

- A fast growing NBFC in retail electric vehicle finance is looking for a Sales & Collections specialist

- The ideal candidate is someone who is outcome oriented and looking to be part of a young finance institution that is beginning to make waves.

- We are an early mover in financing electric mobility having funded over 5000 electric vehicles in India already in B2B portfolio as well as indirectly. In retail EV finance, we aim to finance more than 5000 electric three-wheeler loaders alone over the next 12 months for select OEMs in India.

Position deliverables:

The role envisages the following:

- Enter into and manage partnership and alliances with Vehicle OEMs local officials and their dealers

- Hands on, direct field work to increase cKers retail finance share in the local EV market

- Manage city rollout and partner onboarding

- Manage monthly sales planning with partners and lead funnel

- Manage collection processes with partners and collection agencies

- Manage soft and hard collections

- Align the city, with our pan-India retail vehicle finance foray, reporting to National Head- Retail Finance

- Ensure fluency in local language, handling local team and clients for the cities (Bengaluru- already live,

Chennai and Mysore for bulk deals in near term)

About you:

1. You are a proactive and independent person and are looking to take on independent responsibility

2. You are good with numbers, have an analytical bent of mind and are curious by nature

3. You can work as an independent contributor with little/ no support

4. You are looking to join a young firm and believe in our mission (The mission of the company is to be an innovative market maker debt financing venture dedicated towards financing sustainable energy in India and catalysing the industry towards scale.)

5. You can converse easily with sales staff and customers in local language as well

You must have:

- A 5-7 years of experience in retail lending - sales and collections

- Done Retail loan sales and collections for an NBFC for atleast 2 years

- Hands-on and good inter-personal skills, with a go-getter attitude

- Ability to converse in at least Kannada fluently

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to convert sales work to data through computers and mobile apps

It would be nice if you had:

- Preference for vehicle finance experience, especially new or used commercial vehicles or two wheelers

- Experience of new product/ region rollout

Willingness to travel extensively to engage the market
