They are looking for Assistant Manager - Research to be based out in Gurgaon.
Job Description :
- Coordinates the implementation of Independence support across multiple customers and geographies
- Builds up significant domain expertise on allocated Independence processes and other related processes and tools.
- Develops comprehensive knowledge of the company / US SEC independence policies and is able to apply them to real situations as needed
- Develops solid understanding of company, Regulator's definitions of an audit client and restrictions around them
- Consults with Area Independence teams on complex situations to enable our users in reaching a conclusion or making a well informed decision on a timely basis.
- Improves existing processes in close coordination with RM leadership and customer groups.
- Manages the customer outreach process to build future pipeline
- Responsible for addressing & resolving service delivery issues / escalations
- Builds and manages existing and future development of Reviewers in the team.
- Manages performance of team members-from setting goals to assessing performance against goals to providing performance feedback.
- Manages efficiency and productivity of team members on a day-to- day basis.Ensures adherence to work-flow protocol and tools.
- Coordinates training schedules for new and existing members of the family tree team.
- Coaches and mentors team members for professional development, and recommends training requirements to address perceived gaps.
- Should be leading a team of 5-6 resources.
Education : MBA from a reputed institute or post graduate experience
Experience :
At least 8 years of professional experience, out of which a minimum of 3-4 years should have been spent in :
- Compliance or research functions in Big 4 or other professional service organizations
- Business research/ financial research/ Equity research and analysis
