Job Description:
- Preparation & Posting of Journal Entries.
- Working knowledge of allocations, accruals, GL adjustments, etc.
- Good knowledge of inter-company accounting / reconciliations.
- Meeting SLA.
- Dashboard Reports.
- Handling Client Calls.
- Handling Escalation process.
- Measuring KPI's.
- Quality Initiatives.

About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager - Record to Report (RTR) to join our team at a prestigious client location in Chennai.
- In this role, you will play a key part in the financial close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Journal Entry Preparation & Posting:
- Accurately prepare and post journal entries for various transactions, including accruals, allocations, and general ledger adjustments.
Reconciliations:
- Perform inter-company reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of account balances.
SLA Management:
- Meet and exceed service level agreements (SLAs) for all assigned tasks.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze various financial reports and dashboards to identify trends and anomalies.
Client Communication:
- Handle client calls and inquiries effectively and professionally.
Escalation Management:
- Address and resolve client escalations promptly and efficiently.
KPI Monitoring:
- Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to RTR processes.
Quality Initiatives:
- Participate in and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of RTR processes.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Record to Report (RTR) processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work in UK/US shifts.
