Key Responsibilities: - Build in-depth financial models that can run stochastic simulations and summarizations. - Gather the requirements of the model, design the model and prepare a plan to test the model. - Build the model in Excel and VBA to capture various metrics for summarization, NPV and IRR. - Draw test cases that cover various combinations of scenarios and ensure that the model works as expected. - Help launch and manage a U.S. based Life Settlement Fund and help make investment decisions based on the metrics captured through the model. - Articulate the results and the key drivers of the model clearly. - Establish financial modeling protocols and processes. - Manage projects, junior level analysts in the team, and delegate tasks effectively. - Ensure that deadlines are met and the operation of the business is smooth. - Openness and ability to working on a wide range of tasks to help with running the business. Education & Experience: - Degree in a quantitative discipline (preferably not / no longer pursuing Actuarial Science) - 4-8+ years of proven financial modeling/excel experience. - Experience of working in Investments. - Strong demonstrable experience in the programming language of VBA. - Experience doing stochastic simulations and analysis. - Proven experience of taking up leadership roles in projects.
