Assistant Manager - Production Planning & Control - Wiring Harness & Connectors Manufacturing

We are having an urgent opening for the position of Asst. Manager- Production Planning & Control for one of our US Based MNC (Wiring Harness & Connectors Manufacturing) Client in Bangalore.

Position Details:

Position: Asst. Manager- Production Planning & Control

Location: Bangalore (Near Whitefield)

Experience: Around 10+ years of experience in Production planning, Shop Floor, Batch preparation is required and should be from Wiring Harness, Connectors, EMS, Electronics or Mechanical Components Manufacturing Company (High Volume/ High Mix) is must.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Accountable to release production schedules for all cable assemblies

- Evaluate capacity requirements to demand based on backlog, forecast and any other strategic initiatives like safety stock

- Work with customer service, demand planning for supply planning. Work closely with Site Supply planning team - local and global.

- Initiate capacity assessment and carry out review for capacity planning infrastructure/ manpower

- Shortage review/demand planning for raw material

- Support all SAP based capacity planning activity along with LITC

- Inventory control (DSI, S & E) related analysis and activities

- Support the plant capacity utilization enhancement, optimal plant loading

- Gap analysis of carry forward revenue and CRD failure analysis publishing once in a month and MPD failure analysis publishing daily

- Demand Planning, shortage review

- Production planning for all accounts.

- E2E Wire Cutting Crimping Planning

- Digitalization and Automation of Planning Process

- Drive for continuous improvement.

- Improving Existing Conventional Planning Process by implementing Automation Tools, Strategy & Advanced Techniques

- Ensure that the 1SO14001 and applicable legal requirements related to EMS are addressed appropriately in the areas handled.

- Ensure that the Occupational Health and Safety Management System requirements are addressed appropriately in the areas handled.

- Actively participated in i) Emergency preparedness & ii) Environmental core team, Legal team, Emergency response team (Firefighting, First aid & evacuation) teams as called for.
