Roles & responsibilities:

- Getting BOQ, floating inquiries as per material requirements, holding negotiations and procuring materials at best negotiated price and terms.

- Coordinate with the relevant (engineers, site supervisors etc.) in order to ensure the right level of inventory at all time

- Floating inquires, holding meetings and finalising contracts after negotiation

- Rolling out of purchase orders for procurement of construction material/equipment

- Manage the material flow taking into account current future inventory

- Manage the pool of vendors/contractors/subcontractors to get the best possible quotation for various construction materials and prepare services

- Assess the performance of current vendors/subcontractors and build a network of new vendors/subcontractors considering cost and quality

- Carry out contract negotiations with vendors, contractors and subcontractors for best cost/quality

- Prepare various reports in order to track inventory management, expenses compared to budget etc. for analysis and decision making in the ERP system.

- Handling entire procurement department documentation and vendors

- Maintain healthy relationship with all the stakeholders internal & external.

Requirements:

- Candidate should have around 10+ years of experience in the Procurement function in Real Estate (Purchase of all construction material)

- Have handled purchase of 50 cr and above

- Exposure to managing the entire lifecycle - planning, negotiating, strategizing, and executing, is mandatory

- Computers knowledge is essential and ready to work in ERP systems

- Should be familiar with the local Marathi dialect along with English & Hindi
