Assistant Manager - Procurement - Packaging Material

Looking for an Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager- Packaging material procurement

Requirements:

- Preferably an Engineering graduate/post graduate and FMCG background preferred.

- Should be a Tamil speaking.(local language)

- Bachelor's degree in product designing, packaging or related engineering fields.

- Experience in Packing Material Procurement and Operations in FMCG companies (Folks with prior experience in Food brands can be given brownie points)

- Strong knowledge of packaging technology, materials and design principles with knowledge of testing methods, regulations and standards for packaging.

- Familiarity with production equipment and manufacturing processes.

- Understanding of sustainability and environmental issues related to packaging.

- Should have handled various types of PM and the Raw materials used (Pet, Poly, BOPP, etc.)

- Should have hands-on experience in SAP MM Module

- Should be conversant in English (written and oral)

- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to packaging materials and design.

- Experience with packaging-related software.

- Ability to work collaboratively or individually.

- Should be willing to work from Chennai.
