Assistant Manager - Procurement

Responsibilities will include:

- Functional Expertise

- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to meet procurement needs.

- Ensure compliance with established procurement procedures and policies.

- Analyze and document procurement activities and financial expenditures.

- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.

- Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding procurement activities.

Problem Solving:

- Utilize market insights to make informed sourcing decisions.

- Navigate challenges in negotiations to secure favorable terms.

- Analyze market trends to anticipate supply chain challenges and opportunities.

Interaction:

- Work closely with IT, Tech, HR, Business Operations, Call Center, and ML team to gather requirements and understand timelines

- Strive to improve the procurement process, ensuring it is effective, responsive, and cost-efficient for all teams involved

Qualification & Experience (type & industry):

- Graduate or Postgraduate.

- Graduate: 6-8 years of experience | MBA: 3-5 years of experience.

- Preferably: 2-3 years of startup experience & 1-2 years of consulting.

Skills & know-how:

- Solid problem-solving capabilities: Once given a problem you are able to break them down, identify root causes, run associated analysis and recommend solutions that are effective.

- Strong stakeholder management: You are able to build relationships across teams and are able to work with them effectively to deliver best possible results ( Sales, Risk, Ops).

Behaviors:
