The incumbent is responsible to recruit, train and motivate the employees working in the plant to ensure maximum utilization of manpower resource. The primary objective of this role is to create an organizational culture and to brand the company among the people working in the plant. Ensure all related statutory compliance to be done.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Recruitment & On Boarding : Recruitment under Management, Non Management and outsource category employee, Their joining formalities & induction.
- Attendance and Payroll : Prepare and upkeep daily attendance of all employees under MS, NMS and outsource. Keep the records of leave and tours of employees and record all the supporting for official use. Prepare monthly attendance inputs for the payroll processing and send it to respective department for salary processing and disbursement.
- Statutory Compliance, IR and Liasoning : handle all issue, grievances and disputes at the plant level and resolve it to ensure the smooth functioning of the operation. Liasoning with the various external government departments and agencies as required.
- Vendor Management: Based on the manpower requirements - listing out external vendor who can support for the supply of manpower to maximizing the company profit with the cost effectiveness, identifying suitable vendors from local areas with the support of plant team, obtaining proposals, negotiating with the support of operation team and finalizing the agreement after getting due approval from the concern departmental SBU Head. Working closely with the vendors to execute the tasks planned, reviewing the effectiveness and doing necessary course correction.
- General Administration : Day to day administration at plant level related to transportation, canteen, Bills of vendors, Attendance verification, General office housekeeping etc. Travel booking, hotel booking etc.
- MIS Reporting: Preparing MIS reports in the standard formats and submitting them on periodical basis, presenting the performance data during monthly reviews.
Desired Candidate Profile
- MBA - HR / MSW - full time from a recognised institute / University
- 10 + yrs of post qualification experience essential
- Prior experience in Manufacturing industry mandatory
- Candidates from Cement , Paint , chemical , Pharma etc will be preferred.
- Exposure in recruitment and onboarding
- Exposure to TNI and Training delivery and employee engagement
- Exposure to Industrial relation and payroll
- Experience in vendor management
- Exposure to statutory labour compliance
- Exposure in Industrial Relations like Union Management , Contract Labour Management
Should have knowledge in the below :
