Assistant Manager - Plant Finance - Manufacturing

- Unit Accounts In-charge is responsible for basic accounting,Preparation of cost sheet and variance analysis, reporting, cash and bank operations, tax compliance, budgeting and budgetary control as well as internal and statutory audits.

- This role should ensure the compliances with DOA in all transactions and formal dealings.

- Interact with people with different departments and follow up with them for information/ reports to submit to superior and government authorities.

- Monthly Cost sheet closing - Complete monthly closing the cost sheet accurately in timely manner and send the same to SBU Finance Head

- Statutory Compliance -100% Statutory Compliance relating to TDS, GST and Excise duty etc in matters of practices,records, remittances and returns.

- Periodic updation of CORAL system mandatory.

- Budget - Sending monthly plant reports on Budget vs. actual variances on all major items of PL and focus on cost reduction

- MIS Reporting: Preparing MIS reports in the standard formats and submitting them on periodical basis, presenting the performance data during monthly reviews.

- Vendor Negotiations- All contract negotiations and purchase negotiations Cost and Taxes - Handling Cost Audit and preparing Cost data, provide tax audit data and assessment data on timely basis Annual data before july each year

- Vendor Management - Ensuring all the invoices are process timely and payments made effectively to all vendors within 48 hrs of receipt of documents.

- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

- Manpower planning for Accounts Department Team and their Training & Development, KRAs, performance review, and other HR development initiatives as per management planning.

Required Candidate profile:

Qualified - ICWA /CMA

- 6-8 yrs of experience in Plant Finance Mandatory

- Candidate with prior experience in agri input , specialty chemical , pharma ,cement , Chemical Automobile industry required

- Proficient in SAP and MS Office

- Exposure to handle manufacturing related finance and accounts.

- Monthly Closing activities.

- Finalization of accounts at plant level.

- Good knowledge in all Tax related matters.

- Exposure in fertilizer subsidy system preferred

- Able to handle various Internal and External audits.

- Should have hands on experience in Product costing & budgeting

- Strong skills in Analysis Problem Solving and Decision Making.

- Communication and Leadership Skills

- Awareness of updated Statutory Compliances

- Candidates willing to relocate to Pali ( Maharashtra) may only apply.
