Assistant Manager - OEM Sales - Automobile Business

Responsibilities:

- Serve as the single point of contact for assigned OEM customers, ensuring their satisfaction and building long-term partnerships.

- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive OEM sector.

- Manage Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes, collaborating with both customers and internal teams.

- Develop and implement effective pricing strategies, leading successful negotiations with customers.

- Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to overall business growth and profitability.

- Handle commercial settlements for ECNs, tooling costs, development costs, obsolescence costs, and raw material indexing (RMI).

- Manage and maintain accounts receivable within agreed terms, ensuring timely payments.

- Develop accurate sales forecasts for budgeting purposes and generate market intelligence reports (MIS).

- Execute sales-related transactions within SAP and coordinate with teams for seamless operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a B2B sales role within the automotive industry, ideally with a focus on OEM sales.

- Strong understanding of the automotive OEM landscape, including customer needs and procurement processes.

- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving profitable growth.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP is a plus.
