Designation : Assistant Manager, New Category
Requirement : Candidate with 2-3 years of work experience within the FMCG space from Premier B schools are preferred ( 2012,2013 batch). The incumbent with an exposure to home care or personal care division would be an added advantage.

Core Responsibilities :
New Category Development :
- Gather inputs from market research data, consumer insights to identify key opportunity segments and develop / execute market entry strategies within the segments / categories.
- Conceptualization of new category ideas and translating them into product development briefs.
- Analyze the current and past industry trends, market competitiveness of products and SKU's, consumer requirements to propose brand portfolio
- Coordinate for Consumer Preference Testing (CPT) with MR/ PD team; Conduct field visits to validate the results of CPT
- Conceptualize and plan for merchandising initiatives (ideation of merchandise, cost, design etc) for the new product launch
- Prepare communication brief detailing the need for brand communication, priority market and target segment for the communication & defining the socio-economic class of target segment
Business Development & Results :
- Manage the designated external agencies for necessary packaging / labeling development.
- Work with brand / media teams for development of brand communication
Consumer & Market Research :
- Participate in field work related to market research to obtain first hand consumer insights
- Participate in identification of key trends from the market research report and usage of key trends for building brand initiative
Customer Relationship Management :
- Review of relationship with customers (Customer Satisfaction Assessment)
- Strive towards being seen and experienced as Category experts so that customers seek our inputs.
