Job Title : Assistant Manager Network Services

Job Location : Bangalore

Department : IT

AM - Network Services has to manage and deliver network projects and operations specifically around changes to new Capabilities and Services. You will be familiar with working with external parties, within a diverse environment. Be able to effectively interact with team members, and influence customers suppliers and stakeholders on a daily basis.

He/She will be responsible in ensuring the development and implementation of process and technology are in line with the business needs, identifying the appropriate resources and skills to meet the cost, time and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities :

In this role your responsibilities will include :

- Takes responsibility for the definition, documentation of all processes and actively participating in service improvement plans.

- Ensures that all respective uptime reports and committed SLAs are met and delivered on time in full. realistic

- Tracks all activities against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders, as appropriate and manages stakeholder expectations.

- Monitors and controls team performance against plans. Maintains effective financial and service delivery progress forecasting, and reports as appropriate.

- Effectively estimates costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful delivery of the Project(s) and Ops deliveries to agreed terms of reference.

- Monitors costs, timescales and technical build resources used, and takes action where these deviate from agreed tolerances.

- Ensures that delivered systems are implemented within these criteria.

- Initiates and influences relationships with and between key stakeholders, in management and implementation of services, acting as a primary point of contact for senior stakeholders and influencers.

- Manages the change control procedure and ensures that agreed deliverables are completed within planned cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are signed off. Gains agreement for revisions/scope changes to the Project(s) from Project sponsors and service line owners.

- Ensures that the Operations are fully managed post bring into service.

- Provides effective leadership to the support team ensuring that team members are motivated and developing their skills and experience. Takes appropriate action where performance deviates from agreed tolerances. Actively represents the Service line ensuring that effective relationships are built and maintained with the business.

- Ensures that own Projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are captured and actioned. Produces appropriate documentation to support these processes.

- Ensures compliance with Company's standards, and GPMO Project standards.

Essential Experience, Skills & Qualifications :

- Successful track record of leading and delivering network infrastructure technology based projects and Operations.

- Successful track record of leading a project team in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment.

- Successful track record of building relationships across the Project and Business environment in which the Programme / Project is delivering.

- Demonstrated knowledge of Data and Voice network Processes

- Demonstrated knowledge of process design techniques.

- Demonstrated ability to follow quality assurance processes.

- Demonstrated ability to Follow ITIL process.

Education & Work Experience :

- Graduate / Post Graduate

- 6-10 years in a similar role

- Hands on and knowledge on Network platform-technology

- Good subject knowledge like Cisco,Aruba (wifi platform), Riverbed, Websence,MPLS ( multi protocol mutiswitching), VPNvirtual private network), LAN WAN
