Assistant Manager - MIS - Garments/Textile

Roles and Responsibilities : 

1. To develop, maintain, and analyse budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs of the unit assigned.

2. To analyse and ensure timely submission of MIS of plant to the management

3. To update utilities record on daily basis and analyse this for cost savings.

4. Manage all MIS operations of the business

5. Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of production activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labour.

6. Analysing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost

7. Responsible for inventory management, and coordination of all activities with other departments such as operation and supply chain at business level.

8. Ensure all cost and inventory transactions have been done correctly as per Accounting Standards and compliance with local tax laws.

9. Should be able to establish effective coordination across functions viz; Sales and Distribution, Production, etc.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Overall 3-4 years of relevant experience (preferably from garments or textile)

- Ability to work and communicate with all levels of the organization is critical

- Previous experience in managing MIS & Costing function

- Solid knowledge of advanced cost accounting, financial accounting & financial principles, and practices.

- Excellent knowledge of reporting including standard costing & variance analysis.

- Excellent knowledge of budgeting and forecasting.

- Working knowledge of SAP, financial software and MS office

- Strong attention to details & analytical thinking, problem solving, communication and organizational skills are required.
