Requirements:

Experience: 13-15 years.

- Both Knit and woven exposure.

- Buying House experience preferred.

- US customer experience is a must.

Office Timings: 9 - 5:30 (at times hours can get extended till 7 - 7:30 if need be, for eg. for client calls).

- Workdays - 5 days (but if required, expected to work on Saturday).

- Work mode - In Office.

- Interview rounds Physical / Virtual (Both ).

Roles and responsibilities:

- The Product Development (PD) AMM is responsible for managing the end-to-end product development process, from concept ideation to market launch.

- This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, sourcing, and merchandising, to create products that align with market trends and business goals.

- The PD Merchant plays a key role in driving product strategy, ensuring timely execution, and optimizing product assortments to maximize profitability while maintaining quality and brand integrity.

- This position requires strong project management, strategic thinking, and vendor relationship skills.

- We are looking for a AMM for core PD area of one of our US customer.

- The person should be strong in costings , excel, very good comm skills .

- Someone who has dealt with a high demanding and a challenging customer is a core requirement .

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development & Merchandising:

- Drive product development for Knits and Womenswear categories tailored for the US market.

- Collaborate with design teams to develop trend-right collections that align with brand strategy.

- Ensure product feasibility by working closely with technical teams, suppliers, and production partners.

- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of fabric trends, trims, and finishes specific to knitwear.

- Oversee the end-to-end development process, from concept to final approvals.

Sourcing & Vendor Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and factories to ensure quality and timely deliveries.

- Source new materials, trims, and fabrics in alignment with cost and sustainability goals.

- Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and lead times to optimize product cost without compromising quality.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with designers, buyers, technical teams, and suppliers to execute collections effectively.

- Liaise with the sales team to gather feedback and align product development with customer demand.

- Ensure that sampling and prototyping deadlines are met within development calendars.

Financial & Operational Planning:

- Monitor costing structures, profitability margins, and pricing strategies.

- Work within budget constraints while achieving business targets.

- Analyze sales performance and provide insights to enhance future collections.
