Assistant Manager/Manager - Wholesale Credit & Risk - NBFC

Job Responsibilities :

- Analyze the creditworthiness of NBFCs/MFIs/Fintechs/SMEs to assess their ability to repay loans

- Perform thorough financial analysis of the entities, including analyzing financial statements, cash flows, and key performance indicators

- Conduct management meetings with entities, perform diligence tests at the head office, and carry out branch visits to evaluate the risk of the entity

- Prepare detailed Credit Assessment Reports, highlighting the financial risk, management risk, and business risk of the entities

- Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations for NBFCs and have industry-specific knowledge of the entities

- Monitor the portfolio of NBFCs/SMEs and closely track concern accounts to identify and mitigate potential risks

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of credit evaluation and have a keen eye for detail

- Evaluate the impact of changing environments on various companies and incorporate the findings into credit assessments

Job Requirements :

- Educational Qualification: MBA / CA / CFA with the required experience in underwriting wholesale loans for NBFCs/MFIs/FinTech's/SMEs as corporate entities

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in analyzing NBFCs/MFIs/FinTech's/SMEs

- Excellent analytical abilities to assess creditworthiness, financial statements, and risk parameters

- Strong communication and report writing skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate findings and recommendations

- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and interact with stakeholders at various levels

- Proficient in MS Excel to perform complex financial analyses and create detailed reports
