- Carry out day to day Compliance and Legal responsibilities

- To oversee the compliance screening work done by the Compliance team and relating to global business.

- Set out processes that support Compliance.

- Monitor contract negotiations, compliance and due diligence requests.

- Resolves process related issues and escalates where required.

- Contract review and drafting.

Job Description

Compliance

- Coordinate closely and report to Manager - Legal and Compliance / General Counsel / on all compliance related matters and to Directors where necessary.

- Train staff in India and Asia-Pacific region on all compliance matters and company- s compliance policy, Anti-Boycott law, Anti-Bribery policy and update all concerned staff on developments and risks associated with non-compliance.

- Review and release customers, vendors, purchase orders and sales orders in GTS and SAP system.

- Review and approve vessels and shipments which have undergone compliance screening

- Resolve queries related to clauses in letters of credit and ensure compliance of Anti- Boycott laws.

Contract Management & Drafting

- Drafting and vetting contracts and documents related to Compliance and Legal in nature.

- Advise the organization on drafting and reviewing of various contracts pertinent to global business - such as prepare draft of distribution agreements, consultancy agreements, industry related service agreements.

- Manage various versions until final execution and sign off of contracts. Prepare contract summaries. Create and maintain contracts database with an aim to mitigate risk and improve business efficiency
