Job Title: ( Audit & Assurance - AM / Manager Statutory audit , US GAAP - Commercial Real estate)
Your Role:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage statutory audits for commercial real estate clients
- Review and prepare financial statements, footnotes, and workpapers in compliance with US GAAP
- Demonstrate professional creativity in addressing client matters and make constructive suggestions to improve client operations
- Analyze client transactions, identify potential or existing issues, conduct research, and collaborate with managers to resolve them
- Perform auditing procedures in accordance with statutory audit standards, ensuring accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness
- Propose journal entries to client general ledgers as part of the audit process
- Serve as the Engagement Lead for specific commercial real estate client accounts, managing pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
- Develop detailed engagement work plans, budgets, and schedules
- Monitor project status against work plans and communicate adjustments to managers and/or partners
- Oversee, mentor, and develop staff
- Build and maintain professional relationships with commercial real estate clients and serve as the primary point of contact
Your Experience:
The successful candidate will have:
- 4+ years of statutory audit experience in public accounting, specifically with commercial real estate clients
- Expertise in US GAAP and statutory audit procedures
- Qualifications: CA, CIA, or MBA/B.Com/M.Com/CS/CMA
- Strong client service and communication skills, with leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to manage client relationships
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and audit-preparation software (CCH Engagement)
- Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
