Assistant Manager / Manager Reinsurance

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated professional for the role of Assistant Manager / Manager Reinsurance. This role focuses on business development and business placement in reinsurance operations. The candidate will work closely with ceding insurers, managing treaty and facultative business, and will be well-connected with C-level executives at Indian insurance companies to drive growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive new business development and placement in reinsurance (treaty and facultative).

- Manage and retain relationships with ceding insurers and reinsurers.

- Engage with senior leadership (C-level) across insurance organizations.

- Structure reinsurance deals, prepare and negotiate slips, and finalize terms.

- Leverage analytics and past lost deals to uncover and convert business opportunities.

- Maintain strong understanding of treaty reinsurance and facultative placements.

- Provide consultative insights and strategic placement support.

Candidate Profile

- 7-10 years of experience in reinsurance broking or insurance placement roles.

- Strong practical knowledge of reinsurance business, including slips, deal structuring, and term closure.

- Exposure to treaty reinsurance reconciliation will be an added advantage.

- A self-starter who can identify and revive lost opportunities.

- Exceptional relationship management, communication, and sales skills.

- Demonstrated ownership mindset with a drive to deliver results in a dynamic environment.
