Regulatory Reporting & Analytics
Position Summary :
The individual will work in the Risk Governance & Operations team for North America Branded Cards (24+ million card members with $70+ billion in receivables). The individual in this role will focus on Regulatory Reporting & Analytics projects, you will join a team that has responsibility for North America Branded Cards and Personal loans portfolio.
The person must be able to:
- Think strategically and analytically and enjoy problem solving
- Navigate complex and variable issues
- Leverage on analytical tools include SAS, SQL
Responsibilities :
- Sound understanding of credit risk management and business strategies /actions.
- Proficient in SQL, SAS, and UNIX. Knowledge in mainframe environment a plus.
- Active involvement in regulatory projects including the changes to the prudential and reporting standards as the SME
- Ensure compliance with the regulatory reporting policy and its control framework by enhancing governance to ensure accuracy and completeness of regulatory reporting.
- Investigating trends and insights to understand and pro-actively inform stakeholders of changes in regulatory reporting metrics
- Ability to develop and perform analysis that addresses concerns and issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Data oriented with ability to quickly understand complex strategies and concepts and drive them into actionable recommendations

Qualifications:
- 3-8 years of work experience in financial services or Management consulting or regulatory reporting role
- Experience in regulatory reporting (FRB/OCC) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an analytical field is a minimum. Master's degree is a plus
Domain and Process Expertise
- Understanding of risk management and credit strategies
- Experience in policy Agile project life cycle for implementing changes
Technical :
- Expertise in SAS Base, Statistics, SQL. SAS Certifications and Unix experience are a plus
- MS Office Suite (including Excel and PowerPoint)
