Pricing Manager - Women's Clothing
Role Overview:
The candidate will be working in the Lifestyle BU at our company with the Women's Clothing team, one of the largest and fastest growing categories within our company. He/she will be an assistant manager/manager and reporting to the Pricing & Planning lead.
The role will require the candidate to:
- Plan and execute the pricing strategy for a large collection of brands on the platform
- Manage the inventory through intelligent analysis and inputs to the buying team
- Understand and facilitate the performance of Marketplace sellers
- Drive specific initiatives and projects for Category growth
Pricing Management:
- Co-own the business metrics - both topline and bottomline related while refining processes to bridge gaps and leverage new opportunities
- Stay on top of numbers and trends in an ever-changing landscape, find opportunities and prioritize based on impact, internal capabilities, etc.
- Understand the competitive scenario, both offline and online and utilize these insights into better pricing strategies.
- Take ownership of brand-wise sales and deliver against targets
- Ensure the pricing execution during regular days and sales event days as per plan
- Help deliver the monthly and annual targets defined for the category
Inventory Management:
- Work with the buying team to identify gaps in the Women's Clothing selection available on the platform
- Drive the inventory profile according to the need of the category
- Ensure the availability of inventory of critical brands through the buy team
- Keep a constant watch and take remedial measures with respect to inventory health
Drive the Marketplace:
- Analyze the performance of the marketplace sellers in order to drive the buying team for increased selection and optimum pricing
- Understand the mix of various verticals within Women's Clothing marketplace and identify gaps
- Work with the marketplace team in our company to find gaps vis-vis competition
Work Experience:
- 0-2 years of work experience from Tier1 institutes
- MBA preferred (from Tier1 B-schools)
Key Competencies required:
- Analytical skills
- Excel proficiency and ability to work with relatively large datasets
- Hard working with the ability to manage deadlines and demanding working hours
