Assistant Manager/Manager - Legal - SaaS

Location: Aerospace Park, North Bangalore

Our client is into SaaS Products, digital signature, and cryptography with HQ in Bangalore

Requirement:

- IT company experience preferred

- Male candidates preferred

Responsibility:

- Drives contract lifecycle from drafting through completion of the negotiation process, and/or contracts execution.

- Proficient in drafting, vetting & negotiating of Contracts (Global Operations) which include any kind of Commercial Agreements.

- Experience in handling Master Service Agreement, Software License Agreement, Product License Agreement, SAAS Agreements, Engagement Letter, Procurement Agreements and any other Agreements.

- Monitoring and effectively support the Regional Legal Team in regard to litigation portfolio

- Drafts, manages and responds to Work Orders based on the proposals submitted.

- Preparation of contracts for internal review and approval and ensures compliance with company policies as well as applicable laws or regulations.

- Advisory to the Stakeholders, HR Team and Senior Management of the company.

- Maintaining a deep understanding of contract templates, contracts policy, legal risk and liability, and company position on various matters.

- Experience in handling Data Privacy laws and its application in various contracts.

- Provide general legal advice and support to other functions e.g. human resources, finance, IT, admin, corporate services, real estate management etc.

- Draft, review, negotiate and finalize contracts, NDAs, LOIs, all types of agreements

- Well-versed with Indian laws and global compliances

- Contractual, legal and regulatory obligations

Eligible candidate:

- Should have excellent knowledge of contract laws in software domain specially Europe and North America

- Drafting & vetting contracts

- working closely with Business Leaders

- Vetting office and client contracts

- Should have handled litigation through law firm

- Currently working with an IT company of repute

- Willing to travel

- A team player with high integrity
