AM/ Manager - GL

Location : Pune
Experienced resource in General Ledger, Interoffice reconciliation, Fixed Assets & Balance sheet recon.
- Open to work night shifts, Good communication, Analytical & Decision making ability.
Role :
- Managing a portfolio of accounts, reconciliation auditing and GL
- Training new joiners
- Troubleshoot process issues and resolve queries
- Liaise with customers for query resolution and changes to process
- Assist in reporting
Key Accountabilities :
- Actively controlling and managing all items on a portfolio of accounts, GL, billing, auditing, ensuring timely collection and payment of monies due to/from carriers / brokers / clients to meet targets
- Respond to queries and general correspondence received from Clients
- Utilizing excellent communication skills at all levels with internal and external customers
- Learn new functions / Improve existing functions and create documentation
- Conduct Process Trainings
- Resolve Queries from the Team members
- Create / Maintain various Reports and Logs
- Drive Process improvement projects
- Understand and contribute to the achievement of individual and departmental Key Performance Indicators
- Understand and adhere to the Compliance Standards

- 6-7 years plus Experience in GL Operations
- Would need to manage a 60 member team, so should have 3-4 years exp in handling team of min 20
- Manage Customers and comfortable communicating over Phone
- Salary would be as per our grid for Group manager GL Ops
- Have a valid PP (having Visa a plus)
- Preferred knowledge in Oracle 11i/R12
