Assistant Manager/Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis - CA

Job Title: Senior Manager (Finance and Accounts)

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.

- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

- Present financial data to senior management and provide insights for decision-making.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Develop annual budgets in collaboration with department heads and senior management.

- Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to management.

- Conduct financial forecasting to anticipate future financial needs and challenges.

3. Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and accounting standards.

- Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns and other regulatory filings.

- Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities as necessary.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

- Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs for staff development.

Qualifications:

- CA with experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field;

- Proven experience (6-7 years) in a senior finance role, preferably in a managerial capacity.

- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills preferred.
