Company : A leading NBFC of a Top Business Conglomerate

Position : Manager - Enterprise Risk

Functional Area : Enterprise Risk Management

Location : Chennai

The role requires assisting in creating an appropriate and smart risk management strategies to keep the Firm within defined risk parameters and comply with regulatory requirements while maximizing business opportunities.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Execute the approved RSCA framework and ensure its implementation.


- Update RCSA based on process changes & SOP reviews

- To put in place a Risk Appetite Framework/Policy with clear alerts and limits defined

- Ensure the RSC and RMC meetings are supported with complete information on Key Business Risks and other initiatives.


- Ensure all risks are highlighted to management with 100% accuracy

- Ensure timely and accurate collation and reporting of inputs under Operational Loss Data.

- Create awareness on submission on Operational Loss data

- Be informed with the new development in regards of new regulatory guidelines, regulatory framework on risk management i.e. RBI, IRDAI, Basel etc.

- Conduct quarterly sample checks on high-risk areas and bi-annually checks on medium risk areas

Qualifications / Requirements :

- Around 4 to 5 years of total experience with around 3 years of functional risk experience in the areas of Retail Risk, Corporate, Institutional & Commercial Clients Risk, Market Risk and Operational Risk in BFSI would be an added advantage

- Post Graduate degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Finance/Economics

- Good knowledge and grasp of NBFC / BFSI practices, financial markets at a higher level and awareness of the country regulatory Framework, who can represent the firm in front of regulators, legislators, and other key constituents

- Ability to make independent decisions with a strong sense of empowerment and leadership skills

- Must have high ethical standards, credibility and a commitment to best practices
