Role Description :
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager (BDM) to help us expand our clientele. BDM will be responsible to identify new business opportunities, careful strategic product planning and positioning in appropriate markets and help business grow. BDM will be responsible for planning and execute customer connects programs like seminars, trainings, workshops etc.
BDM will work alongside sales and application support team to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
Desired Experience :
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of work experience in the field of marketing & business development of technical software products (EDA / Embedded Debug / Simulation / Validation & Verification toolchain)
- Experience in demand creation of products to Corporates & Institutional establishments, Defence & Government Departments.
- Proven track record on Prospecting skills, Product planning, Market knowledge
- Strong Technical Knowledge, Excellent Communication skills, Ability to be flexible and proactive.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Willingness to Travel extensively across India. Additional Skills / experience (Not essential, but will be an added advantage):
- Experience in handling System Engineering solutions business development to Automotive and Industrial organizations.
- Experience in handling Hardware-in-Loop systems business development to Automotive and Industrial organizations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Work with Application Support team and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the companys unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data from sales campaigns.
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
