Assistant Manager/Manager/Associate - Real Estate Investments - CA/IIM/ISB/FMS/MDI/XLRI

Position: Associate, Real Estate Investments

Location: Gurgaon, India

Job Description: Associates who contribute to all phases of the technology driven real estate investment process. This includes data sourcing, quality assurance, market research, deal sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence, commercial and tax structuring, deal negotiations, documentation, investor reporting and asset management.

The candidate should thrive in a fast pace entrepreneurial environment and would be expected to be proficient in financial modeling, preparation of investment memorandums, and work with lawyers/legal teams to close documentation and consummate transactions.

Responsibilities:

- Financial modeling of prospective deals and existing portfolio projects - Strong XLS skills

- Review of government and other websites for obtaining pertinent real estate.

- Review the real estate data obtained above for quality purposes before it is made public or fed into the databases for training machine learning algorithms.

- Identify transactions for different investment strategies and complete market research to prepare an investment thesis.

- Conduct Real estate research including supply/demand, infrastructure development, current prices and competing projects in the neighborhood of prospective investments.

- Assist with due diligence relating to new investments.

- Review and negotiate clauses in transaction documents.

- Work with lawyers in closing the transaction documents.

- Assist in preparing annual valuation of overall company and summary of portfolio investments for investor reporting.

The position will require high flexibility to travel across India.

Qualifications: We seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have consistently demonstrated excellence. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, the successful candidate should have strong communication skills, and an ability to work in a team environment, often under pressure of tight deadlines. Prior real estate knowledge is a plus.

To qualify, candidates must possess:

- A qualified Chartered Accountant or an MBA from a premier global business school

- At least 4 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or private equity

- Exceptional Financial modeling and analytical capabilities

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Strong oral and written communication skills
