Position - Assistant Manager

Reporting to- (Vice President- Legal)
Qualification- LLB+LLM(4-6 Years of working experience before post qualification of LLM)
Location- Mumbai
Job Description:
- Having a Strong understanding of companies Act, Contract Act, FEMA, SEBI, RBI Arbitration.
- To understand the legal issues/hurdles faced by the businesses /Projects.
- To liaise with external legal Consultants for specific cases/issues/contracts/documentation/legal advisory services as required and review the work done by them.
- To Prepare /review all internal documents related to loans/agreements/associations including Projects related/Loans/Financial Documents.
- To provide Status updates/Reports Related to the non-litigation cases handled to the respective stakeholders as required.
- To research on legal aspects like cases/updates/acts/special provisions, etc to ensure effective legal solutions and support is provided to the organization.
- To provide support in various internal projects related to the Standardization of legal documents / Having agreements/processes as required.
- To draft term sheets, Joint venture agreements, share purchase agreements, share subscription agreements, ancillary documents as per requirements.
- To assist in handling litigations.
Skills Required:
- Strong Understanding of laws.
- Good drafting skills.
- Handled the Non-Litigation Portfolio with limited intervention.
- Manage all internal Legal requirements.
- Proactive in ensuring all legal aspects are taken into consideration or any case/contracts/documents.
