Responsibilities :
- Create IT transformation strategies that enables business strategy; ability to interpret business strategy and identify strategic IT initiatives.
- Define IT technology or IT transformation roadmap, along with interdependencies in collaboration with business stakeholders such as CXOs, Head of Departments, business partners team etc. and drive alignment across stakeholders
- Manage the definition of requirements and create high-level business and technical architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with new or existing systems/platforms.
- Understand the impact and limitations of technological solutions/ IT initiatives on business outcomes; ability to see the - bigger picture-, and execute accordingly.
- Demonstrate strong business understanding and awareness of business trends in India and globally; suggest solutions/ workarounds for various business scenarios.
- Understand how do various components of IT integrate with each other to solve business/ customer challenges
- Govern implementation, user training and roll out of defined IT technology/transformation roadmap.
- Manage/lead engagements or work-streams in larger engagements, while taking ownership of quality of deliverables
- Should be open to travel up to 80-90% in India and outside.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience: :
- Experience in developing all aspects of IT Transformation including market analysis, requirements gathering, strategy, business case, target operating model, across a broad range of sectors
- Exposure to at least 2 out of 6 sectors - Consumer Markets, Industrial Markets, Internet enabled businesses, Energy/ Natural Resources, Telecom, Healthcare/ Pharma
- Experience in writing business cases (qualitative and quantitative - CBA, RoI, Break even analysis, TCO) to support strategic decision making, process improvement initiatives, or IT transformation
- Experience in identifying and improving business value of IT and solution comparison
- Experience in client facing team oversight role (minimum 70% of total experience) and/ or solution architecture for client landscape
- Prior experience in handling senior stakeholders directly
- Strong understanding of latest technologies, various components of IT, maturity models for IT in an organization and industry leading practices
- Strong understanding of models of co-execution of enterprise and digital technologies and hands-on knowledge in digital technologies such as mobility, cloud computing, social media, analytics etc.
- Should be able to identify driving factors, obtain additional information using primary/ secondary research, drive problem solving/ solution identification and present findings to clients
- Understanding of emerging IT delivery models such as DevOps, Agile etc.
- Very strong ability to prepare visually impactful deliverables and presentation skills
- Should have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with internal/ external stakeholders
- Good multi-tasking skills with capability to adapt to rapidly changing environments.
Prior Experience & Qualification :
AM : 7-10 years of experience; Consultant 4-6 years of experience
- B.Tech/BE from Tier 1/2 institutes
- Masters (MBA/MTech/MCA) preferred but not required
