Role Description for: Assistant Manager - IGC
Role Title - Asst. Manager - IGC (Investor Grievance Cell)
Function - IGC
To manage conflicts between parties of diverse interests & provide quicker remedies for queries & disputes within regulatory framework. To prepare MIS & reports for internal use, committees, regulators & website. To interact with other internal departments. To maintain customer focus & initiate areas of improvement.

Key Responsibility
Descriptive Parameters
1.Investor complaint redressal process
Register investor complaints after validation.
Analyse the complaint & take up issues with Trading Member / Company.
Hold meetings between parties.
Arrive at resolution of issues.
Provide trade data to investors.
Co-ordinate with regional offices for complaints.
Support with Activities pertaining to blocking of deposits of trading members.
2.Committee meetings
Execute various tasks related to Regional Investor Complaint
Undertake action recommended by RICRC members.
Execute various tasks related to Investor Services Committee (ISC).
3. MIS & status updates
Send weekly MIS containing details of all complaints and their outcomes to the HOD for internal records and analysis.
Send these reports to the respective regions.
4. Investor interaction
Respond to queries of investors.
Forward specific queries to the respective departments (like trading).
Track the status of all the emails through the MIS tracker.
5. Issue No Objection Certificate (NOC)
Handle all tasks related to issuing NOC.
6 Process / System improvements
Identify areas of improvement in current process.
Coordinate with superiors for incorporating enhancements.
Note: Additional responsibilities may be added from time to time depending on organisational requirements.
