Assistant Manager - Investment Research - Asset Classes

Hiring for AM - Investment Research with a Leading UK Based MNC

Job Location - Mumbai

Technical skills :

- Strong Investment and Economic Research skills with proven expertise/in-depth knowledge of at least one asset class

- Adept in undertaking and articulating investment research and insights

- Comfortable in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Role Requirement :

- Undertake research on traditional and alternative asset classes

- Analyse the trends and conditions in asset classes with particular emphasis on the identification of emerging risks, including default and recovery patterns and links to specific risk drivers and future outlook

- Study economic policies, global economic cycles and various other emerging patterns and correlate the impact to asset classes

- Forecast asset returns based on economic scenarios for short, medium and long terms using both quantitative and qualitative analysis

- Articulate outcome of research in form of reports or slides in a succinct manner

- Undertake research on Fund managers

- Use quantitative methods/tools to develop insights

- Mentor a team of analysts to deliver research reports

Prior Experience :

- 2-5 years of work experience in Investment Research preferably studying Asset classes with macro economic focus

- Experience in building slide packs and research report for capital markets research
