About the job:
- Responsible for acquiring delegates for conferences (clean energy, mass transit, etc) through various sales and marketing activities
- Undertake research to identify prospects for the conference.
- Develop and implement integrated marketing plans for conferences, including digital marketing, content marketing, email campaigns, social media, etc.
- Create compelling marketing content and collateral, including website content, promotional materials, press releases, and newsletters.
- Utilize data analytics to measure campaign performance, track key metrics, and make data-driven decisions to improve marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and creative departments, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners, such as associations, media outlets, to execute marketing initiatives.
- Managing event registrations and handling delegate queries.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO, social media, email marketing, and analytics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Required skills: PPT (MS, google, canva, etc), excel, letter writing, business communications
