One of our client is looking for Asst. Manager -Indirect Tax (Compliance). The position is based out at Mumbai. The brief JD is given below:

Job Description:

The Incumbent Will Be Responsible For The Following:

- Handing VAT, CST, Service Tax / Excise compliance's and routine compliance work under Service Tax, Excise and VAT which includes:

- Utilize knowledge of VAT laws of various states across India

- Work on Pan India VAT compliance

- Coordinate with local consultants across regions

- Computation and payment of taxes on timely basis

- Review of workings prepared by client

- Apply for registrations, amendments etc

- Filing VAT and Service Tax returns, refunds, etc

- Conduct VAT Audits

- Manage clients independently

- Regularly updating technical knowledge
