Job Summary:


As the Assistant Manager/Manager, HR Function, you will play a crucial role in managing the human resources activities for our organization within the manufacturing/container freight station/logistics/supply chain/shipping line industry. You will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, training, and overall HR strategy. Your efforts will contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive work culture, employee engagement, and the achievement of business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Employee Relations and Engagement:


- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting employee engagement initiatives.

- Address and resolve employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters in a fair and timely manner.


- Organize employee recognition programs to celebrate accomplishments and boost morale.


2. HR Compliance and Policies:


- Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.


- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook guidelines.


- Conduct regular HR audits to identify and rectify potential compliance issues.


3. Performance Management:


- Design and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.


- Assist managers in addressing performance concerns and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.


4. Training and Development:


- Identify training needs within the organization and coordinate employee training and development programs.


- Partner with external training providers to deliver relevant workshops and courses for skill enhancement.


5. HR Analytics and Reporting:


- Utilize HR data and analytics to track key HR metrics, identify trends, and generate insights for data-driven decision-making.


- Prepare and present HR reports to senior management as required.


6. Employee Benefits and Compensation:


- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure they remain competitive and compliant with industry standards.


- Assist in the salary review process and conduct salary benchmarking exercises.


7. Safety and Welfare:


- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to promote a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.


- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines and support welfare programs.
