Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process payroll on a timely basis, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes, assisting with compensation reviews and salary adjustments.
- Developing and implementing compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
- Preparing and presenting compensation and benefits data to management.
- Coordinating with other HR departments to ensure integration of payroll and benefits data.
- Verify employee time and attendance records to ensure accurate payroll calculations.
- Handle payroll-related transactions, such as new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries related to paychecks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, and payroll information.
- Comply with data privacy regulations and ensure the confidentiality of employee records.
- Manage employee benefits plans, including insurance, gratuity, and retirement plans.
- Communicate changes in benefits plans to employees and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conducting market research to analyze compensation trends and ensure competitive pay scales.
