HR Strategy and Planning : Provide inputs on new initiatives for the coming year (e.g - performance management initiatives, competency development initiatives, employee engagement, rewards and recognition, IT support development and administration) for the HR strategy to HR Head
HR Budgeting : Coordinate for inputs from all the Categories/Departments with respect to manpower requirements, number of new plants planned, business / market expansion plans, inflation forecasts etc
- Forecast impact of initiatives on HR plan in areas of recruitment, training, performance management basis the category requirements
- Prepare budget and seek inputs from HR Head
On boarding and Induction : Prepare induction plan as per request by category based on requirements; Customize induction plan as and when required; Induct new joinees with respect to entitlements, HR policies
Compensation : Incorporate guidelines on compensation revisions from corporate HR
- Communicate revised guidelines to employees (relevant)
- Prepare and handover revised compensation letters for employees (relevant)
Benefits : Update the benefit information on the intranet periodically
- Provide benefit related information to new recruits and communicate revisions in benefits (if any) to all employees
- Monitor and review receipt of benefits by employees as per guidelines
Performance Management : Coordinate with managers for timely completion of appraisal forms
- Check all appraisal forms for completeness
- Collate performance ratings and promotion lists from each category
- Analyze data and make recommendations on normalization of performance ratings
- Prepare performance analysis presentation based on inputs from HR head for DMC/ all functions
HR Policy Design and Revision : Design the policy and seek approval from HR Head/DMC
Rewards and Recognition : Develop rewards and recognition strategy and plan along with Category/Department
- Define objective of rewards and recognition schemes
HR Information System : Provide HR information as and when requested by Category/Departments/Corporate HR/HR Head
Employee Engagement (To be process) : Negotiate terms with vendor and finalize terms
- Monitor employee engagement survey administration by vendor
- Review survey results and analyze trends of employee engagement
Employee Relations : Draft necessary actions/enquiries to be taken in case of non compliance/ disciplinary issues among employees
