Strategic Business HR Role
- Designing and implementing HR policies and systems which are aligned to organisational goal.
- Ensured that organisational, individual, social and stakeholders goals are effectively accomplished.
- Created awareness of Vision and mission statement of organisaions amongst employees.
- Organisational Development intervention initiatives.
Manpower Planning and HR Budgeting
- Finalization of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the business
- Manpower planning as per the AOP and the business plan
- Finalization of budgetary provisions for HR and Admin expenses
Talent Acquisition
- Planning Human Resource requirements for the financial year in consultation with Functional Heads.
- Facilitating Talent & Acquisition decisions related to Internal Job Postings, Promotions, movements etc.
- Assessment and selection of the right talent through competency based interviews.
Human Resource Operations
- Ensuring smooth implementation of HR operational activities including on boarding, transfers, exits, leaves, attendance, health insurance, advances and deductions.
- Handling end to end implementation of performance management system in the organization, including periodic performance reviews, scheduling awareness sessions, normalization and finalisation of performance ratings in consultation with various stakeholders.
- Monitor & control HR & admin Opex through periodic review and analysis of monthly business report.
Employee Engagement
- Implementing OD initiatives to manage change and foster effective work group relationships and communication processes like employee communication forums, Skip Level Meetings & One-on-One interaction.
- Drive employee engagement through execution of action plans based on employee feedback through various channels such as Gallup Survey, Exit Interviews etc.
- Schedule Engagement activities as per calendar i.e. ECF, Sports, Festivals, Milestone Celebrations etc.
- Drive a culture of Recognition through timely execution of R&R policy.
Training & Development
- Developing the training calendar based on the development action plans, finalised by the employees in consultation with their reporting managers.
- Partnering with best in class learning partners to ensure smooth & effective implementation of the L&D Initiatives.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training programmes by monitoring the change in pre & post program scores.
Compensation Management
- Payroll Management and related statutory compliance
- Ensured that the C&B strategy continually aligns with market dynamics so as to attract and retain talent
- Supporting Management by providing insights through HR analytics.
- Facilitating employee awareness with regard to salary structuring and statutory tax compliances as per laid down policies and procedures
IR & Compliance
- Have exposure to various labour law compliances.viz Factories Act, ID Act, Contract Labour & Regulation Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, ESI Act, PF Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act etc
- Ensured provision of canteen, transportation, medical, library and other statutory and non-statutory welfare facilities
- Established a strong and cooperative IR culture in the plant and set up a strong grievance handling machinery and ensure its smooth functioning.
- Have substantial exposure to represent before different labour authorities
- Counselling & Grievance handling and creating awareness to all levels of employees
