- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns and workpapers for partnerships, S corporations and individuals
- Extensive experience in rental and real estate tax returns
- Prepares tax provision schedules by reviewing, preparing, and consolidating provision schedules
- Review financial statements, evaluating any errors, prepare AJEs
- Understand partnerships agreements and allocations
- Review real estate transactions like 1031 exchanges, gain allocations.
- Manage members of the tax team as they prepare components of the company's US federal income tax returns and other tax documents
- Plan for and develop overall return calendar and coordinate timing and inputs with tax team
- Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax processes
- Gather appropriate materials regarding yearly tax tables, instructions, and forms to accurately calculate taxes
- Inform client of important paperwork and documentation needed to complete tax forms accurately
- Review financial statements, expenses, and previous tax returns to identify the best strategy for completing future returns
- Prepare process notes and training material and train team members including continuous updation and implementation
Requirements

Qualification:
- Minimum four years of US Tax experience in partnerships (RREs) and individual tax returns
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Lacerete
- Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent in accounting/ finance
- Fully or part qualified CPA/ ACCA/ CA (only desirable)
