Assistant Manager- Financial Reporting
Primary Responsibilities :
- Assist in planning, preparation and issuance of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings, including filings on Forms 10Q, 10K, 8K and press releases as well as financial statement schedules and disclosures
- Prepare various supporting schedules, reconciliations and analyses for various clients, debt compliance and regulatory filings, including coordination with segment accountants and others within the organization, including the review of workpaper packages prepared by those individuals
- Coordinate preparation of subsidiary financial statements
- Coordinate interactions with external and internal auditors with respect to financial reporting and debt compliance functions
- Assist in administration of the Company's financial systems (general ledger and financial reporting software)
- Establish proper records, approvals, documentation and audit trails for all transactions
- Pursue the continuous improvement of the financial reporting process
- Aid in maintaining a system of internal controls that is Sarbanes-Oxley compliant
- Provide support in completing monthly consolidation process
- Maintain timely communication with supervisor keeping him/her informed of all material financial and reporting issues
- Coordinate ad-hoc special projects as requested by supervisor, including certain management reporting projects
Requirements :
- Qualified CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) with 2-4 years post-qualification experience
Hands-on experience in :
- Financial accounting & reporting with good knowledge of US GAAP
- Expertise in MS Office and Dynamics AX/DeFacto
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid conceptual, problem solving and analytical skills; readily willing to perform detailed analysis as needed
- High energy level, self-starter, team player, self-motivated and driven to meet the ever-changing demands of a dynamic organization
