Assistant Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis - Manufacturing Firm

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including variance analysis, to management and key stakeholders on a periodical basis (Monthly / Quarterly etc) within the given timeframe including presentations to Board on financial performance.

- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data, analyze performance, and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

- Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, highlighting areas of concern or improvement opportunities.

- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and cost optimization efforts.

- Develop, monitor, and enhance financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support the company's short-term and long-term financial planning.

- Identify process improvement opportunities within the function and implement best practices.

- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant accounting standards.

Ideal candidate :

- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling from a Manufacturing background.

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and generate meaningful insights.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.

- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Knowledge of Indian GAAP and financial regulations.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
