Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Provide financial reports and interpret information to support managerial decision-making.
- Recommend courses of action based on analysis.
- Investment Advisory: Advise on investment activities and propose strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Financial Health Management: Maintain and enhance the financial health of the organization.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze costs, pricing, sales results, and business performance against plans.
- Develop trends and projections.
- Cost Management: Identify cost-reduction opportunities through reviews and evaluations.
- Department Oversight: Manage finance department operations, set goals, and design frameworks for achieving objectives.
- Budget Management: Lead the preparation and monitoring of the company's budget.
- Audit Liaison: Coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance and effective monitoring of financial activities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with various departments to discuss company plans and align on strategic directions.
- Accounting Activities: Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks including reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Tax Compliance: Manage TDS, GST, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, PT compliance and ROC filing.
- Invoice Management: Prepare invoices and oversee payment follow-ups.
- Financial Statements: Prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
- Audit Support: Coordinate and complete annual audits, providing necessary financial reports and support.
- Financial Forecasting: Analyze trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments to predict future financial performance.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Maintain accounting controls by recommending and implementing policies and procedures.
- Payments Management: Verify documentation and ensure timely disbursements.
- MIS Reporting: Prepare and present Management Information System (MIS) reports.
Requirements and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in tax, accounting, finance, or related field (CA Intern qualification acceptable).
- Experience: Minimum 3-4 years in accounting/finance roles, preferably in consultancy or service-based industries.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Tally and other accounting software.
- Deadline Oriented: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Reporting Skills: Capable of generating accurate and insightful financial reports.
- Time and Data Management: Strong time management and data entry skills.
- Versatility: Ability to perform a variety of tasks and work under general supervision
