Assistant Manager Finance

Job Description:

- Candidate must be Qualified CA

- To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G plc's operational risk.

- Support the production of month end and project transformation costs across M&G entities for any Platform reporting

- Preparation of monthly project journals ( accruals, expense postings etc)

- Assist in the production of quarterly forecasts and plan for the transformation areas of transformational spend

- Provide analysis and commentary on transformation results against plan and forecast.

- Provision of requested MI to answer ad hoc queries.

- Delivery of accurate, timely and insightful data produced in line with business requirements.

- Understanding of the main drivers of cost allocation. Identify and address variances from plan.

- Assist and reconcile Oracle ledger receipt accounting

- Liaising with external auditors (where required)
