Assistant Manager/Executive - Market Risk/Treasury Management - BFSI

Description:

- As part of the Funding and Liquidity Oversight team within our Market Risk division, you will play a key role in ensuring funding and liquidity risk is appropriately managed.

- The role offers a mix of quantitative and qualitative elements with key deliverables being analysis of movements in risk metrics, review of the liquidity risk framework for various entities across the globe and reporting back to senior management.

- The team works closely with the Traded Market Risk teams and the non-traded market risk oversight function, providing an opportunity to gain exposure to these areas.

- This role offers a great career path for an analytical and inquisitive individual with strong numerical and problem-solving skills and an interest in market or treasury risks. Qualifications in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Actuarial or similar are highly advantageous.

- 4 years of post-graduate experience in financial services. You'll have strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and be comfortable with general concepts of statistics and maths and be able to work with financial spreadsheets containing large amounts of data.

- You'll also have the ability to run numerical analysis on the data and present it in a way that is easy to understand. You need to have a solid understanding of balance sheet concepts and your numerical skills should be complemented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
