We are currently looking for an Assistant Manager-Employee Relations for one of India's topmost FMCG MNCs

Key Accountabilities
- Formulating and implementing Employee relations strategy, policies & processes by understanding social and economic situations of the state
- Managing the administration and implementation of the organization's industrial relations- programs and policies
- Setting-up and executing location level ER/IR priorities in consultation with business heads, corporate IR taking into consideration the external environment, location challenges, past reflections & organization goals
- Ensuring statutory compliances of labour statutes, labour laws application, liaising with statutory authorities, attending inspections, conciliations & court cases
- Leading contract labour management, employee welfare and CSR initiatives for achieving strategic objectives
- Aligning IR services to corporate goals for enhancing employees- productivity, regular or periodic interaction, MIS and audits on compliances, identifying gaps and initiating remedial measures
- Supporting the business circle to manage conflicts & ensuring healthy industrial relations by guiding the circle in initiating the disciplinary proceedings and solving employees- grievances
- Executing industrial relation strategy which attributes to establish amicable relationship with the stakeholders and hence ensuring not a single case of industrial disputes should arise
- Supervising and monitoring the vendor's compliance which help to ensure 100% coverage of workmen under PF, ESIC or WC, ensuring compensation liability on Principal employer remains zero
- Trade Union Management: Handling Trade union (External and Internal both), Long term wage Settlement (LTS).
- Management of Contract labour and Employees of 3rd party Manufacturers.
Education Background
- Graduate with MBA/PG in HR from a reputed B-School.
- Having 10-12 years of full-time work experience in IR / ER functions in a Manufacturing Company
- Outstanding academic achievement, strong leadership and organizational experience with excellent communication skills
- Fluency in the English language and any other local language - written and verbal
Compensation Range: Rs.20.0-24.0 Lpa
