- Responsible for implementing the Safety, Health, and Environment management programs in the warehouses.
- Development of SOP & Implementation of Companies EHS Policy.
- Carrying out EHS Risk assessment and initiating corrective & preventive measures
- Should have a thorough knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 for sustaining and improving the EHS Management systems in place.
- Planning and coordinating EHS audits.
- Ensure system of accident and incident investigations and analysis - recording, reporting, Investigations, Corrective measures, and Analysis.
- Monitoring & measurement of EHS performance.
- Developing training modules and Training of warehouse personnel in EHS
- Coordinating for monitoring of environmental parameters.
- Carrying out industrial hygiene studies related to exposure to dust, chemicals, heat stress, light, ventilation, and ergonomics. Analysis of the findings of the Industrial hygiene studies.
- Responsible for outlining the road map for EHS improvements within the warehouse.
- Responsible for employee interface should drive the working of EHS committees, EHS standards, Cross audits and other measures aimed at improved EHS culture.
- Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
- Maintain the EHS Dashboard and monthly reporting.
Qualifications and experience:
- 5+ years in successfully managing EHS responsibilities and teams in a reputed Indian or multinational company ideally in logistics, manufacturing, or food services.
- Masters/M.Tech/PG in EHS domain.
- Certified as an auditor for ISO 14001 or ISO 45001
- Should enjoy traveling to facilities across the country on a regular basis
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - oral and written
