Position- Assistant Manager E-Commerce

Location-Bangalore

Exp- 1-3 Yrs

- Willing to relocate to Bangalore if required.


- The company sells products on e-commerce sites like Amazon, Flipkart etc and this role ensures that sales of its products happen via these sites. So handling these vendors is important.

- Leading all aspects of engagement and relationship for a set of accounts & accountable for the delivery of business results and bottom-line for multiple categories for a leading FMCG company.

- Use an understanding of the account to build short term and midterm account plans.

- To lead the process of joint business planning with the account for delivery of the business objectives and activate the action plans for achievement of the same in consultation with the category team.

- Develop appropriate strategies for the account covering assortment plan, distribution plan basis their unique models and servicing norms.

- Benchmark own performance in the account with competition through service feedback on a regular basis

- Keep a track of market trends & new customer initiatives of competition and input the planning processes basis the information obtained

- Develop insights and use the same to build customized plans for growth across categories.

- Ensure execution of new launches with appropriate leverage of account properties

- Track performance vs. the growth plan and input the category team for plans to exploit opportunities by category in the account; ensure achievement of the plan.

- To share correct estimates as per input cycles for the account - input into demand planning for own account

- Ensure implementation of consumer engagement activities to drive brand trial and influence choice

- Prepare and execute planning calendar for the year and bring high level of focus on content management

- To input into the work of Head of Value Chain, Alternative Channels on areas related to the account servicing mix including Delivery Terms, Delivery Mechanism and frequency, Distribution plan, lead time plan to enable optimum availability of the recommended mix on the platforms.

- Negotiate terms of trade which promote Win-Win for both the account and the company.

- Deliver the promos and all launches within agreed costs. To track the same on a regular basis and ensure feedback to relevant persons in the team and in accounts.

- Work with the Finance team for creating the right balance of cost vs revenue

- Ensure continuous track of accounts receivables and payables and timely movement of monies

- To track claims till payments and ensure all processes are followed as per laid down norms

- To ensure accounts pay in time; provide continuous feedback to the accounts team

- Ensure smooth functioning of the internal team by managing and measuring their work
