This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, managing tax audits, and optimizing our tax strategies. Location: Delhi Work Arrangement: On-site, 6 days a week Responsibilities: - Oversee the precise calculation and timely submission of TDS returns, ensuring adherence to TDS regulations and monitoring any changes in tax laws. - Manage tax audit processes, prepare audit reports, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. - Develop a comprehensive understanding of TDS/TCS provisions and stay current on amendments, facilitating regular compliance reviews. - Utilize your expertise in tax software such as Computex, Genius, or Webtel to enhance efficiency in processes. - Keep up-to-date with the latest tax law changes and provide updates and recommendations to maintain organizational compliance. Requirements: - Over 5 years of experience in TDS, ITR, and tax audits, preferably in a manufacturing setting. - Proficiency in foreign payments compliance and a thorough understanding of current tax laws. - Leadership experience in overseeing direct tax teams is highly desirable. - Familiarity with tax audit software such as Computex or Genius. - A solid grasp of both direct and indirect tax laws and regulations.
