We have job opening in a leading BIG 4 company for Assistant Manager - Direct Tax

Location : Pune

Detailed Job Description :

- Handling Advisory and Compliance engagements related to Direct Tax laws, such as Tax Structuring, Advisory, On-going Compliance, Litigation support, etc.

- Analyzing and interpreting provisions under the Income Tax Act as also provisions pertaining to International Tax, dealing with interpretation of Tax Treaties

- Conducting technical research and preparing memos, opinions, presentation, etc. on technical issues raised by the client

- Handling assessment proceedings, DRP, CIT (Appeals), Tribunal, etc. related matters and representation before the tax authorities and liasoning with the Counsels as may be required

- Proactively seeking opportunities to help the business grow and solving complex business problems

- Assistance in identifying pursuits and endeavoring to convert it to clients

- Developing good rapport with lower / middle level of client management

- Overall responsibility for execution of the assigned engagements and client delivery. Effective implementation and review of work programs.

- Coordinating with Managers / ADs / Directors on the planning and management of assignments

- Updating clients on on-going matters on a prompt and regular basis, keeping track of industry developments

- Taking technical sessions in internal Learning and Education (L&E) sessions

- Guiding and overseeing the work of Analysts, Senior Analysts and Associates
