Asst. Manager / Dy. Manager - Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)


Purpose:

The individual responsibility role will enable in Providing support in co-ordinating, implementing and tracking the company's CSR initiatives and programs by validating and coordinating CSR initiatives across locations and ensuring transparency from proposal to implementation stage by duly taking accountability from the invoicing to delivery process. Will initiate integrating social and environmental concerns into a company's business operations and interactions with stakeholders.

Reports to Head - CSR.

Qualifications:

- Master's in social work (MSW)/MA Sociology or Master's degree in a related field from a reputed university/institution.

- Should have Strong skills in MS- Office tools with proficiency in Excel and Power point.

Experience:

- Experience in CSR or community relations project management domain, with at least 4 years hands of experience in leading community developmental and employee volunteering projects in Companies with CSR.

- Strong knowledge of CSR principles, sustainability practices, and industry standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with various support functions, business units, and NGOs to make programs successful.

2. Ensure that all proposals and agreements are in line with the budgets and implementation requirements.

3. Take accountability of the Invoicing to delivery process in consultation with the Finance team.

4. Manage the bookkeeping of all the CSR related compliance documents.

5. Prepare CSR reports and presentation as per process to provide transparency on the company's CSR performance.

6. Track the budget allocated for CSR initiatives and provide updates on utilization and the impact of resources allocated.

7. Monitoring and evaluating the impact of CSR programs and proactively alert the management.

8. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to CSR.

9. Maintain and update the calendar of CSR events month on Month and around the Year.

10. Provide briefs and work with Marketing / Internal communication team to amplify and share stories of volunteering and help develop pride towards the organization.

11. Manage project budgets, disbursements, and financial utilization tracking.

Secondary Responsibilities:

1. Develop systems and processes that reduce manual intervention

2. Employee Engagement: Engage and educate employees about CSR initiatives, encouraging their involvement and participation. Ideate with Volunteer leaders on new volunteering initiatives that have a deeper impact and better participation

3. Stakeholder engagement: Identify, engage, and collaborate with key stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, NGOs, and local communities, to understand their concerns and involve them in CSR efforts.

4. Promote responsible business practices, including diversity and inclusion, ethical sourcing, fair labor practices, and community development.

5. Manage relationships between partner NGOs, Volunteers, and Business leaders.
