Assistant Manager - Corporate Strategy & Planning (2-3 yrs)
- Responsible for Corporate Strategy, Corporate Planning, Business Planning, Process Improvement, MIS Reporting, Strategic Planning & Development, Business Analysis, Business Consulting, Finance Modeling, Risk Analysis & Process Improvement.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual MIS along with variation analysis, board presentations, long range plans (LRP), Annual Operating plans (AOP), budgets for the company and leadership team (LT) deck along with comments and insights on business performance.
- Providing data for business reviews by CEO.
- Working on adhoc MIS requirements from management and shareholders
- Developing long term strategic direction of the company
- Analysing current businesses and improving their organization
- Studying global trends, industry sector, markets, and competition
- Formulating short-term, mid-term, and long-tern objectives for the organisation
- Scanning the environment for M&A opportunities
- Translating strategy into programs for execution
- Working closely with the leadership team
- Financial Analysis :Know finance Concepts about Profit/Loss statement, cash flow construction and analysis, Balance sheet analysis
- Understand business logic and be able to translate the same into excel sheet drivers to project future P&L, Balance sheet and Cash flows
- P&L projections should result in a simulation model, where changing assumptions can yield desired results
- Analysing growth drivers, ratios, basics of valuation, funding requirements
- Help in MIS analysis / Receivables analysis/ be able to work dashboards
- Power point create charts, presentations, effects
Qualification, experience & Skill Sets :
- CA Ist Attempt or Second Attempt only & Should have 2-3 years of experience in the similar role & in a Manufacturing Industry is a must.
- Should know advance excel (pivots, macros, financial formulas etc) & Word
Personal characteristics / Behaviours :
- Ability to remain calm under highly demanding and stressful situations and delivering high quality output without errors.
- High on soft skills.
- Should be self-driven and motivated individual.
Special Skills :
- Analytical mind-set with a capacity to understand the business context.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must have for this role.
